Quilting scraps

I was all inspired to put my fabric scraps to good use and reduce the size of the pile! So a few days ago I made some qulited trivets. I was so thrilled with how they turned out that I couldn't stop making them! I've made 8 and have more in the pipelines. You can never have too many trivets. Or maybe you can. I think they'll make nice gifts tho. :)

I realised I had so many fabric strips that I could make something a bit more substantial so I thought I'd make a little quilt for Tassy's dolls. I didn't tell her what it was tho and she kept saying "oh this would be so nice if you made it into a quilt for my dolls". Eventually I caved and told her that's what I was doing, lol. It was much trickier to quilt as I decided to quilt perpendicular to the seams which meant I had nothing to guide me. Hence very wonky lines!

Look, it can fit a whole family underneath!

I used a large scrap of gingham for the back which Tassy thinks is "a bit too cowgirl" LOL.

Wow Yvette. They are fantastic. I love them and so will the ladies at my craft sale. We'll have to think of a good price for them.
Tassy's family size quilt is gorgeous too. You are so good with your sewing too. Everything is so neat.
