A new quilt

It's now a year since I finished Tassy's Bluebirds quilt and I've been keen to make another quilt. A really easy one this time. Tassy and I went to the fabric shop on Tuesday and she chose the first fabric - a green floral, which I wasn't too keen on. But then I started choosing other fabrics to go with it and LOVE what we ended up with! The first afternoon I cut out all 192 squares and miraculously had just the right amount of fabric! Not bad for not knowing how much to buy!

I love the fabrics. I would love to step out of my comfort box and try some different fabrics to my usual choices. I did buy a tiny bundle of different fabrics from Glenrose Patchwork at Warwick QLD. I have a million things I want to make with them but I think there's only enough to make something as big as a glasses case. Looking forward to seeing the finished quilt.

My cat just jumbled up all the letters to his name and this is what he came up with!
