An update...

Dave is in the middle of his two week holiday. We went to Wollongong for a few days and stayed with my parents. Tasmyn went to mum's playgroup which she loved and Dave and I enjoyed some time alone at the shops. My Auntie Julie and Uncle Daryl popped in for afternoon tea to surprise us which was fantastic. They live in Sydney but Uncle Daryl had a meeting in Wollongong. He even fixed my neck. He does deep tissue massage and it absolutely KILLS at the time. I was almost in tears, but afterwards I always feel fantastic. Here are some pics of mum, Auntie Julie (her twin sister), Tassy and I...Dave and I went out both nights we were there. The first night we saw Spider-man 3, which was great. It was a long movie (almost 2½ hours) but the time went quickly. Lots happened. We had heard that it wasn't any good but we enjoyed it as much as the other Spider-man films. The next night we saw Nine Inch Nails at Luna Park. It's the third time we've seen them and the audience wasn't as much of a freak show as last time. Let's just say Dave and I fit in a bit better this time! lol... And it sounds like we were lucky to see them cos the show the next night was postponed. I tell ya we would have been really upset if we travelled 1½ hours to get there from Wollongong (not to mention travelling from Canberra before that) to find that it was cancelled! Oh - and somehow I forgot to take my camera to Wollongong! I took a few shots with mum and dad's camera tho. I also forgot to take my camera to Preschool yesterday for the Mothers Day morning tea. It was so sweet. The kids sang some songs then we had a morning tea of fruit and pikelets which the kids had made. You'd never know I was a scrapbooker - forgetting my camera twice this week!

I have these two layouts in the current issue of Scrapbook Creations. The first one I did a while ago with the intention of using up my whole packet of metal flowers. So I was pretty happy with that! I love using up old supplies. I love this photo Dave took of Tassy. I added a Diffuse Glow filter in Photoshop. Love that filter. :)And this one for Dad's album (which I gave him for his 60th birthday last year) is about some of his funny sayings. The photo is from his Jet Flight which he got for his birthday. Happy Mothers Day!!!! :)
