Layouts to share

Kim Archer asked me to be a guest Design Team members for her recent class "Step Back in Time". I loved the theme of this class. I chose 1989 when I was 16 and in in Year 11. I couldn't find my old diaries (I have an awful feeling that I've thrown them out fairly recently!) but the photos brought back plenty of memories. I could have easily written TWICE as much journalling! These layouts are in the current issue of Scrapbooking Memories. I used lots of old products on this first one. I love what Tasmyn's wearing. Little did we know that she had PNEUMONIA when these photos were taken! The swim certainly wouldn't have helped. And this layout was inspired by Mardi's style. I love the story behind this photo. I asked Tasmyn to teach my toy a song and she actually wrote sheet music! I was super impressed.Just have to share some funny things Tassy said today. She was eating a poached egg for breakfast, picked it up and said to it "lets see how good YOU are at dodging my bite!". And another time trying to put food into her mouth via her cheek she said "and THAT'S why I have a mouth!".

Loved your layout from Kims class...but I know you know that....and I feel very honoured to have inspired the 'she writes the songs' layout...I have always adored that one...and once again Tassy is so cute...and clever too!!

Fabulous layouts Yvette!

And Tassy looks very bright and bubbly for a child with pneumonia!! I know kids are resilient, but that is fairly extreme lol. She made me giggle with her conversation with the poached egg!!

Great as always ... Love the 1989 LO (can't wait to read it all IRL) - but I can't believe you threw your diaries out AFTER you became a scrapbooker! What the?! And the LO of Tassy with pneumonia - well, you'd never know! Love the funny comments too. x
