FINALLY we have ADSL back. I can breathe a sigh of relief... I will try not to complain too much about the past TWO WEEKS without it in this post. I hope you haven't all forgotten me!
Well I was really disappointed that I didn't make it thru to the next round of the Scrapboxx Design Team comp. Super disappointed. But I also know that my layout wasn't fantastic this round. The project was to create a layout inspired by something. My inspiration was a Home Beautiful magazine, and I have had this idea floating around in my head for months, so I'm glad it's finally done now! So I got the email from Scrapboxx to say the results were up, then logged into the gallery to see the winning entries. This all took about half an hour thanks to dial up, then I saw that my entry wasn't there. Really disappointed, I went back to my inbox and I had a brand new message from another online store offering me a position on their Design Team! I absolutely could NOT believe the timing! I actually applied for this DT over a year ago, and they said they would keep me in mind for future vacancies. I didn't expect to hear from them after all this time. I was stoked! Once I've done some layouts for them and they announce it officially, I can tell you who the store is! I'm thrilled that Mardi is thru to the next round, so i'm backing her all the way. Go Mardi!!!
Tassy's class's concert costumes arrived just in time for the dress rehearsal and studio photos on Sunday. And oh they are SO cute!. The photos should be ready to pick up this afternoon so I'll share them shortly. And their hair is plaited with wire like mine in the layout below! This is in the latest Memory Bugs newsletter. Thi pp and red vellum were a bit tricky at first, but I think they really suit these photos!
I have lots more layouts to share so I'll share a couple each day until I'm up to date :)
