Bloggy advent calendar DAY 9
Last Christmas I was thrilled to win a bird ornament kit from The Red Thread blog. I received it just before Christmas and didn't get a chance to make it in time, so I packed it away to make closer to this Christmas. I added some chain stitching for a bit of texture. I love it, but I really wish I'd left a bigger white border around the bird, like in the link!

Even if you didn't leave as big a white border as on the other bird, it's still really really pretty. What a nice decoration.
