Friends and the tree artwork

Last week Tassy and I had a lovely couple of days staying with our dear friends Lea and Bella (and the rest of the family). So nice to have a good couple of days with them. It was hot and the children spent most of the time in the pool. Tassy LOVED it.

Thanks Lea for a great time and lovely food and for sending me home all inspired to do some more crafting.

Lea showed me this post which I just loved to bits. So I used Aneela's template but used a cardstock background instead of making it into a quilt. I was stoked to find a little pile of perfectly sized scraps from a quilt I made a few years ago and I even had the perfect number! The artwork is hanging on Tassy's bedroom wall and she is so thrilled and thinks I'm so clever, lol. Really, it was so easy and didn't take long to do either! I'm thrilled with how it turned out.

Gorgeous artwork!
I reckon Lea, once Yvette's got an idea she is SO QUICK to whip it up! She got that from Mum I think :) I wish I got it too! I usually have all good intentions then never do it! I love it Yvette!!
