Yesterday was a public holiday in Canberra for Melbourne Cup Day "Family and Community Day". So Dave and Tassy were home. I put us all in the sweep at work but they forgot to email me the horses names on Monday, so I did our own sweep. No money involved but it was fun to cheer for our horses. I did some scrapbooking yesterday for the first time in a few weeks (apart from making the December album in the previous post -but that's just the bones of it so doesn't count!). I wanted us to remember seeing Cinderella on Ice but didn't have any photos, so I used a few photos I found on the net (the tiny ones) and one from a magazine. I had to strategically place the tiny photos to cover some text on the big photo. I cut a slit in the background paper and tucked the flyer inside the slit. Now this has got to be the cheapest layout I've ever created. Just one sheet of patterned paper, a brad and a paperclip! That would be less than $2. I love to add lots of "stuff" to my layouts but it wasn't gonna work with this one. This was something fun I did on this site. Pretty cool hey. :)Kim has a couple of workshops on sale for only $5 each! Check them out here (scroll to the bottom) and if you've never done one of Kim's classes then do yourself a favour and try one of these! You will be hooked! But don't blame me. Oh okaaaay, I don't mind if you blame me...

Aaaaaaand Kim has recently opened her Christmas Workshop for registration. Last year's workshop was a huge event with a gazillion projects and this years will be even better! Plus the Support Girls, Janelle, Mardi, Helen and I have some special projects of our own in there!
