Tuesday...

Tassy's missed the last three days of school cos she's been sick with a virus. She's very up and down with it - mostly she's pretty good, just has a sore tummy, not much appetite and a fever on and off. The other night I went into her room a few hours after she'd gone to sleep cos I thought I heard her coughing (which often means she's throwing up)... and she was laughing! She was laughing soooo much that she couldn't even talk! Eventually I got "koalas" out of her. "Did you dream about Koalas?" I asked and she responded "no, they're all over my room!". Still laughing. She has hallucinated before when she's had a high fever. That time she had pneumonia and hallucinated three times, mostly about animals in her room. It's so freaky! Well, that first time we didn't know that it was common for children with a high fever to hallucinate, so we were really worried!

I did this layout for KSK using gorgeous MM Noteworthy papers and ribbons. These pics are from my birthday in April. My parents were here and we had a fantastic weekend doing lots of fun stuff together. I wanted to include heaps of photos but didn't want the layout to look too cluttered so I've used a hinged flap.

Wow! Hallucinations! Least koalas in her room were funny not scary. a bit like Watsons hallucinations in Young Sherlock Holmes. Remember the cupcakes! LOL! Hope she's feeling better soon.
Love the layout. You do such a good job! Love the way you "hid" the mass of photos. Very clever!

Poor Tassy - it is so awful when you are so sick you hallucinate. I remember hallucinating when I was a child - I had animals dressed in clothes flying across the ceiling and down into my head! I wonder if she will remember the Koala's in her room. Sending LOTS of get well vibes for the poor little mite.

LOVE your LO too - just gorgeous as always x Janelle
