Charity Auction

Karens Scrappin Kupboard is having a charity auction, with proceeds going to the Asthma Foundation. You can bid on your favourite KSK Design Team member (or several!!!) and the winning bidders will receive a customised layout scrapped by that DT member. Check it out here!

When my parents were here a few weeks ago Mum suggested I take Tassy out sometime and do some drawing together. So on Monday we packed a bag full of paper, pencils and snacks and headed out to Lanyon Homestead. Only to find the gate closed at the main road. I knew the cafe was closed on Mondays but I it never occurred to me that the whole homestead would be closed. So then I thought for a little while and came up with an alternative location for our little adventure. We went to Point Hut Crossing, which is a picnic ground next to the Murrimbidgee River, near our place. We've driven over the crossing plenty of times, but never stopped at the picnic ground. So we sat on our picnic rug and drew each other. The idea was to draw our surroundings, but there wasn't much to see there, lol. Then we went exploring and found some steps leading down to the river. You can't even see the river from the picnic ground, so that was a pretty cool find. Then we found another track and followed that for a while. We had a really fun time and I got a few photos. I had a little play with this one in Photoshop and think it looks pretty cute. Here's Tassy with her drawing of me.
And my drawing of Tassy and Felton. My drawing of Tassy is about as recognisable as her drawing of me, lol.
And here are some pics of Tassy and Felton.
