A new chapter

It's funny timing - Tassy started school today and my sister is due to have a baby any day now. A chapter of our family life has just ended and for my sister is just about to begin!

Our baby is now a schoolgirl! All went well this morning. No tears or drama of any kind. It was all very matter-of-course cos it was just the right time for us. All the kindy kids and parents met in the library for a little greeting from the principal then class lists were read out. Tassy's was the very first name called so off we went to class. There are four classes and they are all composite K/1. There will be 20 kids in her class, 10 being Kindergarteners. Two children from her Preschool class are in her class this year. We stayed in her class for about 20 minutes for settling in (not that Tassy needed any settling!) and she did some drawing. Then we kissed her goodbye and left. She was fine. We were fine. All was good! We were all ready for school (well, maybe not Dave lol).

Isn't she the cutest. :)Killing time till it's time to go to school! Walking to her classroom. She said drawing was her favourite activity at school (hello! you can do that at home!)

Well there was never any doubt that Tassy would go off to school without a hitch, but it's nice to see that it all went so very well Yvette :-)
