Designing Memories March Kit

This is such a cool kit from Designing Memories! I was given the Main Kit and Add On Kit this month. Some cool October Afternoon papers and rub-ons, Bohemia papers and transparencies, Hambly rub-ons and transparencies, and as always the gorgeous buttons, flowers, ribbons and brads that Katja always includes. I really love all the little bits and pieces cos I always use bits and pieces on my layouts! I love that these kits have EVERYTHING. I don't even have to look at my own stash. I did three layouts, starting with this one about the changes in store for our family (which have since all happened!). Yep, lotsa journalling on this one! You can read it by clicking on the layout.Tassy took these photos of my beautiful friends Kerryn and Lea and me a few weeks ago and she did a fantastic job didn't she! I loved that she snapped so many. I cropped them all but still, I was thrilled with her photography! These girls really are very special. I'm so grateful for our babies for bringing us all together! Now this next one is my first attempt at using a transparency as a background. As you can see I'm pretty crap at photographing transparency layouts lol. So I tried again on a sheet of bazzill. Doesn't Tassy look SO tall in that photo! She really seems to have sprouted again lately. Yesterday she was standing behind her little table talking to me, and I said "are you standing on something?". She smiled and said no. I could have SWORN she was standing on something cos she just seemed so tall! And no, she wasn't trying to trick me!

I must source some 12x12 transparencies! I'm itching to do something similar. Loved your layouts this month. The one about you going back to work is great - all that journaling! You'll love looking back on that one day.

Love the transparency layout on the cardstock. Great Layouts... I really liked the one with all the journalling and the same happy photo at the bottom ... that looked great.
It is sad when your babies just keep getting bigger and bigger.. so I know how you feel.
Keep up the great scrapping

Cheers
