My Grandpa

Beautiful girls, thank you for your lovely comments about my Grandpa. I really appreciate them. I've been inspired to create a few more layouts about Grandpa. My sister Felicity decided we should bring our Grandpa and Grandma layouts to the wake for people to look thru, and I thought that was a great idea. We have layouts by Felicity, my sister Charlotte, my Auntie Julie and me. From lots of different stages of his life (mine are all old photos tho).

This is a beautiful poem my Grandma wrote when they were newlyweds. My uncle actually found this poem when he opened up a frame containing a wedding photo, it was hidden in there. He had no idea what possessed him to open the frame, but boy, what a find! I think the poem is fantastic. I can just feel her in it. You should be able to read it if you click on the image. This next one is Grandpa and his twin brother. How cute are they. Don't you love their dresses, lol. Thanks to Lea for pp and stickers on these two layouts! And the pp on the previous layout! :)We think this next photo was taken in 1932 which means Grandpa (on the right) was 18. He would not pass for an 18 year old nowadays! They always seemed so much older in those days, didn't they!
