Grandpa in the snow

I've always loved this photo of my Grandpa. When I was growing up it used to hang on the wall in our dining room. I'm wanting to scrapbook more photos of Grandpa and Grandma at the moment. Grandpa is 93 but his mind isn't really with us, and hasn't been for a long time. He has a very strong body tho, and a few weeks ago he was given a week to live, and he's still with us. The same thing happened seven years ago! He's very tough. Apart from dementia late in life he never ever got sick. And this is the very first napkin I've used on a layout! I've been wanting to try the technique where you mod podge it to a transparency (or cardstock) and I love how it turned out. I'm keen to do more now.

I'm a bit stinky right now. It was a beautiful day today - perfect for gardening. So I put cow manure on the garden. I don't actually mind the smell (country girl here) but I don't necessarily want it following me around all day. It's still with me after my shower, but luckily it's not as strong. I keep waiting for Dave to comment. :) And on that note, I might have an early night! G'night.

Hey Stinky

Glad to hear you got a chance to get out in the garden on this beautiful day.

I was a bit concerned when you said you were a bit stinky.....wondered what you might have eaten to set you off lol.....

Yvette this is such a beautiful layout...I am so envious of how you retain the fabulous Yvette Adams style every time, yet your layouts are all so different. You're here for the long run!

Have a great weekend :-)
