Good stuff!

Firstly an announcement.... I'm finally going to be an Auntie! My sister Felicity and BIL Matt are having a baby. SOOOOO exciting. I can't wait. Tassy is finally going to have a cousin, at the ripe old age of almost six! Oh it will be so nice to have a baby in the family again. I can't wait to see Felicity's belly grow. :) And finally I can pass on ALL of Tassy things that we have held on to - seriously I have kept all her clothes, toys, cot etc.

My parents were visiting my aunt and uncle at their sheep farm on the weekend. It's just over an hour from here so I spoke to them on Sunday morning and invited them here afterwards. After all - now that dad's retired they had no need to rush back home. Dad hadn't even thought of coming a little further to see us - he is still in the week v weekend mindset, and was thinking they had to get home on Sunday night. So we had a fantastic spur of the moment visit from them. They arrived late Sunday afternoon with stories of witnessing my uncle slaughter a cow (I won't go into details!). Monday is usually our day at home, so it worked out beautifully to have them here. No need to rush off anywhere. We looked after an almost-2yo-ball-of-energy-aka -Ollie yesterday for four hours, so it was great to have my parents here to help entertain him. They adored him. He is such a beautiful little sweatheart. That's him in the car photo on my previous post. My parents left this morning and we're looking forward to them coming again when Floriade is on, ie 1-2 months time.

On Saturday Dave, Tassy and I went Ten Pin Bowling together for the first time. Dave used to bowl regularly, and I was in a league with him in our early days. But it's been about 6 years since I bowled. We had SO much fun. Tassy loved it. Following each bowl she's jump up and down and dance around - so funny. Check out how high she is in the second photo! I have done some Guest Design Team work for Katja Schneider's site Designing Memories. This gorgeous September Kit has some really yummy products I haven't seen before, including a beautiful MM self adhesive acrylic alphabet, and some matching shapes. Very cool. That's it from me. I've slackened of a bit with my posts - they seem to have been weekly for a while, but I'll try to get back to two posts a week now! Thanks for visiting and please leave me a message to say hi!!!

Oh Yvette - I love your layouts! They are truly sensational.

And I can't believe you did this post on TUESDAY - I've been underground for the past few days....school excursions and the like...and now my brother is here for a few days. AND my nights have been spent on the exercise bike instead of the computer! I'm feeling healthier but I'm missing my internet buddies....I think I should have written you an email instead of waffling on here lol....
