Scrapping like crazy

I'm on a roll! KSK ran a bunch of online challenges over the long weekend, and even tho I didn't actually do any of the challenges, it really inspired me to scrap! I have done six layouts since Sunday (that's a lot for me). Three are DT layouts so I can't share them yet, but these are the other three. First, my Aunty Julie (mum's twin sister) emailed me these photos on Sunday night. I was so inspired that the next morning I scrapped them straight after breakfast, while Tassy watched ABC Kids and Dave slept in. I used AJs text as my journalling. Love that. Each year for Tassy's birthday Dave and I write her a letter each. So here's a layout for each of our letters this year. The photo of Dave and Tassy lifts to reveal the rest of the journalling. I stitched the row of ricrac like a hinge. We're still not all well here. Tassy is much better and went to preschool today. It was less than zero degrees when I took her to school at 9am! But it was a beautifully still sunny day, so our house was lovely and warm. Dave was home sick yesterday and today, and I'm a bit sick with the cold too, but so far I'm not too bad.

This weekend my sister Felicity will be here overnight and we are going to a crop on Sunday. I'm really keen to go! See you there Moira and Manon. Anyone else going?

Well my electric blanket should be piping hot now. Love how it almost burns my skin when I hop into bed. :) G'night all!

Wow lucky you scrapping up a storm over the long weekend, I had good intentions to do some scrapping but I never got there I seemed to be running here there and everywhere with the kids LOL... I love the layouts you have done with your letters to Tassy, what a fabulous idea, I hope you and your family recover from being sick quickly. Thinking of you and sending you get well vibes.
