Vintage quilt square swap

After Christmas I was so excited to receive my parcel of vintage 6x6in fabric squares from Mardi's swap. I haven't had a chance to start sewing yet but I did get to have a play around with the fabrics after seeing Sheree do the same thing with hers.

It was very hard to photograph them because half the squares were in front of a window and the other half we in the dark, but don't they look pretty! I'm so thrilled with the mix of fabrics. I'm looking forward to sewing them together while watching some movies when Tassy's back at school.

It looks beautiful Yvette. It should come together pretty quickly once you get into sewing it.
I really need to finish mine, the quilt top and bottom are done but its just a matter of quilting it.
