Narooma

The end of the school holidays... We just had a lovely couple of days in Narooma on the NSW South Coast. It was so lovely - relaxing, beach, pool, bird feeding, eating out. So nice. We hadn't been there before but we'll be going back!

We saw some gorgeous seals in the bay, up really close. Just lazily floating around.

And the BIGGEST stingray I've ever seen doing a circuit right against the shore. Another two joined him as well!

We went to Mogo Zoo on the way home.

There were the most beautiful playful white lions. Sooo beautiful.

And these tiger cubs! So adorable!

Yvette, your photos are just stunning. I LOVE the one of you and Tassy in your whites, and the one of Dave and Tassy with their backs to the camera, and the SUNSET, it's just magic. It really reflectswhat a lovely time you had at Narooma. So glad you had a mini getaway before the rat race starts again. Although I do think life is a bit more laid back in Canberra.
Fancy seeing seals and the white lions look so cuddly.
Love Mum

Beautiful photos, and how about seeing seals! We have seen stingrays in Wollongong harbour and they look sinister, or is that just a Steve Irwin thing. Love Dad

Your holiday shots are very similar to mine! We were staying up the road at Tuross Head and enjoyed seeing the stingrays and dolphins at Narooma (no seals though). We also spent ages watching the white lions playing at Mogo. It's a magic bit of the world :)

Wow! Some great photos here. I love the sunset one and there are some gorgeous ones of Tassy. Looks like a fabulous trip!

I always wanted to go to the Mogo Zoo as we would pass it on our way to Bermagui each Xmas, but we never dropped in. I'm looking forward to Xander growing up so that we can go to Taronga Zoo!!

Gorgeous pics!!
looks like you had a fabulous time :) How cool are the seals and sting rays! The water looks so crystal clear too!
I've been to Mogo Zoo with Mum and Dad, I remember thinking it was torture for the lions to be able to see the deer from their enclosure! Its like looking at food in a vending machine when you have no money!
