I made a bag!
There have been a couple of things I'd wanted to sew in the last few months, but I made myself wait until I finished Tassy's quilt before I started on any of them. That was a good motivator to make me hurry and finish that quilt! Yesterday I made this handbag. It's not perfect and there are a few things I'd do differently next time but I'm pretty happy with it. I really love orange but don't have any orange clothes (it doesn't suit me) so it probably wasn't the smartest colour choice, lol. The pattern can be found here.

And me too LOL ... I really like the colours! Well done - it looks fab. You can always wear orange with browns, denim, black ... but who cares what you wear it with, everyone will be looking at the bag. ;)

The bag is awesome!! I LOVE the colour, its cool to wear darker colours with a bright bag, like Moira said. It would go with heaps don't worry! I love it! Well, if you find you can't wear it with anything you can always hand it down {wink!}
