We had planned to go to Floriade yesterday but it rained. Not that we're complaining - we love the rain, but we postponed our trip and we're about to head off today. So we had a day at home yesterday and I got to do some scrapping. I got a new order from Two Peas on Thursday so I was keen to play with some new things!
Firstly, this photo of my family pre-Charlotte. I only discovered this photo a few years ago but have loved it since. I love the Making Memories fa-la-la letters. I have a real thing for glitter at the moment! And this one's about when we saw High School Musical on Ice a few months ago. Wow, 5 months ago! It took me a while to get around to scrapping that! In my Two Peas order I got some flocking and had my first play with it on this layout. I need to play with it a lot more to see what I can do with it but here's a close up of what I did here. First I drew the flourish with a glue pen but I couldn't get a consistent flow of glue and it wasn't thick enough. So I went over it with Dimensional Adhesive and that held a lot more flocking. Ok - time for Floriade! Catch you later!

Wow, love the layouts! I love the pic in the first one (it shows off Mum's penchant for dressing us all the same, even she's matching this time!!)and the red/blue combo is gorgeous! I love those MM letters, I have them but have yet to break them out!! I must get on to that...
And thanks for mentioning me, Dad must have been twinkling for a while cos that pic's only in 1978!! Lol.
I love how you used the tickets as embellishments on the High School Musical page.. ingenious! Can't wait to try flocking too!
Very classy lady!! These are both so beautiful! I love the first one especially....such fabulous bold colours.
