Pics and paper

I got some professional photos of Tassy back this week. Doesn't she look so grown up. She chose to wear this dress, which my mum gave her for Christmas and we both love. I was going thru my scrapping stuff last weekend and found these photos that I must have printed about 2 years ago! So it was high time I stuck them on a bit of paper. This ole photo was taken in 1983. I was 10 and Cathy was 13. We have been such good friends ever since I was 6 and she was 9. Who would have thought that we would get along so well with such a big age gap at 6 and 9, but it's always been as if we were the same age. We grew up together in Grafton (Northern NSW) and now we are so lucky to live only ten minutes from each other in Canberra. We email each other a lot but don't catch up nearly as much as I'd like so I really have to make more of an effort. Actually we're catching up on Sunday. This is one of those layouts that looks better IRL - the colours here are all wrong and despite lots of fiddling in photoshop I can't get it to look right. Have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful photos, Yvette! I love that bottom layout. The colours look fab. It must be brilliant IRL. Love the pink/orange combo on the yellow background. And I see you got to use Katja's rubons once again :)

Gorgeous photos of Tassy.....(but then Im sure there isn't such a thing as a bad shot of Tassy)....shes so cute.

Loved seeing the layout of you building... something I'm really interested in at the moment...and I remember you saying communication with the builder was tricky....

I also loved those little month tags on each photo....perfect for this l;layout...

Great pics of Tassy! Much better than last years, LOL. Cool layouts as always. Your street is almost unrecognisable! And how cool about Cathy. 1970 was a good year LOL.

Beautiful shots of Tassy and I agree with Mardi, you couldn't possibly take a bad photo of her:))
Oh, I have shots too of our house being built. You have done a great job of documenting a huge event!!!

And your layout is lovely Yvette!!!

Such beautiful photos of Tassy!! She made a great choice on that dress too - so pretty!

Good on you for scrapping some old pics - the layouts look fantastic! I really need to do more of that - I too often reach for photos that I've only just had printed.
