Fishies

I got Dave a fishtank for his graduation in July and we didn't have much luck with the fish. 12 out of the 16 died. Our remaining 4 have been happy for a while and we even bought 4 more fish a few weeks ago and they all seem happy together. My friend Cathy was checking out the fish yesterday and said "oh you've got a baby". We said no, it would be a neon. She insisted that it wasn't a neon. After looking all over the tank for what seemed like ages, we spotted a baby fish! Oh so cute! About 7mm long. Well I've been checking him out a few times today, then this afternoon I realised - he has a twin! They are really hard to spot, and of course they look the same so I only knew there were two cos they were right next to each other. I guess there could even be more hiding amongst the plants. That was a bit of excitement for us. We thought we were failures as fish parents. Now we're grandparents. Awwwwwww...

And I'll leave you with my other two layouts from my For Keeps Elite Team submission.

oh how cute! love bubba fishies ... your parent fishies aren't gonna swallow the bubs are they?? We always had to catch the babies and place them in a subdivision in the tank. Not sure if all fish do that though!

But grats on becoming grandparents! lol

Love your LO's ... That is as much Yvette style as you can get and they are just stunning!

So many gorgeous layouts! Very exciting news about the fishy babies too.

Funny thing I was going through some of my older scrap mags before tossing them out and I opened up to a layout and thought that face looks familiar, and it was you! This magazine is over two years old, to think I have been looking at your layouts all that time :-)
