My first post

Hello there!

Welcome to my blog. If you happen to be reading this please post a comment so I know I'm not talking to myself! You may notice my very boring blog title "Yvette Adams". I can't think of anything clever and I don't want to give my blog a lame name! I'll change it if something brilliant pops into my head.

So this is my first post... It's 11pm on Saturday night. Dave is on the computer playing World of Warcraft. I just completed my quickest ever layout - it took about 50 minutes! Normally I take 2-3 house to complete a layout.
I'll have to pop back and post it tomorrow cos I have to take a photo in sunlight.

I wanted to include a layout in my first post, so here's one I created a few days ago. This is my baby sister Charlotte when
she was about 4yo. The photo was taken on our back veranda with a pretty ugly background. I had a play in Photoshop using the Diffuse Glow filter and it pretty much removed the background in one hit! I just erased the leftovers. I was so thrilled with how the photo turned out! Here's the original photo...

Tassy and I went to a Stampin Up party at Steph's this afternoon. Tassy was pretty well behaved. Well actually she was great, apart from speaking or singing at the top of her voice when the demonstrator was trying to talk. I was very good and only bought an ink pad for me and two roller stamps for Tassy. She was so excited about stamping!

ciao!
